Using Safety Flanges Is A Must!!!

Post  BuschShineProducts on Tue Mar 31, 2009 5:43 pm

This show how the pad material has separated from the clinch ring. This was caused from not using Busch Safety Flanges. The money savings is not worth the damaged caused! It is likely this person was injured as well.

This is a close up of the center.

This picture shows an airway pad that was properly used with Busch Safety Flanges. The clinch ring is held fast with the pad material. The metal plate that comes with the airway pad is for centering only.

**Welding center plate to clinch ring will not keep the clinch ring from separating from the pad material.**

Use the flanges, one goes on each side.

With the adapter.

This is how it should look once you have it together.
