how to protect plastic lenses after polish

after polishing plastic headlight lenses what can you do to prevent re-yellowing? Thank you

like aluminum, once the plastic is polished, it has a tendency to oxidize pretty quickly. you must polish them every so often to remove the oxidation again. even though the lens looks like new, it just wont stay clear as long anymore. Its still cheaper to polish them than to buy new lenses, though.
